Building 98 has been painstakingly restored over the past 2 decades, returning to its former glory as the Fort D.A. Russell Officer's Club. In 2002, a major restoration was undertaken on the historic 10,000+ square foot adobe compound which features 2 oil-on-plaster murals painted by German P.O.W.s Hans Jürgen Press and Robert Humpel, both held at the base between 1943-1945.
