Independent forestry/ recreation in excellent stands of Southern Loblolly Pine with some mixed hardwood. Access by good, recorded, easement road from the end of Tom Marsh Rd.(county maintained). Situated near the Segno Oil Field and part of Louisiana-Pacific Forest Lands.
On the North Tract, about 100 acres was thinned in 2013. Of the remaining 31 acres, roughly 19 is of the same age as the thinned, but wasnt thinned. About 6 acres is a hardwood/pine mix and another 6 acres along the north side of the road on the eastern side of the tract is slightly younger and probably planted in 2006.
On the South tract, about 100 acres was planted in the 2012/2013 winter. There is a mixed hardwood/pine island on the south end of about 13 acres and another 13 acres of mixed hardwood/pine on the northeast end. Theres also about 3 acres of pine on the northeast end.
