This cabin is just 4 miles to the entrance of Snowshoe, 12 miles to Cass Scenic Railroad, the Greenbrier River, the Greenbrier River Trail, and a short drive to Cranberry Wilderness and Green Bank Observatory. Snowshoe offers two ski resorts in the winter and an extensive mountain bike park and golf course in the warmer months. Green Bank Observatory is a state of the art extraterrestrial radio observatory located in the National Quiet Zone and home to a public science education center and dozens of radio telescopes including world's largest fully steerable radio telescope. The historic town of Cass is widely known for its Scenic Railroad State Park and being home to the largest subterranean waterfall in WV and Virginia.
