TIMBER RESOURCE:
There are approximately 1450 acres of beautiful mature forest that are being managed under the Sustainable Forest Inititive and this forest is also a member of the prestigious American Tree Farm Family. An extensive forest inventory was conducted in September of 2011 by professional foresters. The inventory shows over 250,000 trees containing some 7 million board feet of timber. The value of the timber at that time was estimated to be over 1 million dollars.
