14.31 acres SECLUDED Hideaway Retreat w/UTILITIES!
ESCAPE FROM THE CROWDS, noise and frayed nerves to your own 14.32 acres wooded HIDE-AWAY for Mother Natures soothing remedy!
The entrance to this property is easy to miss. I myself pass it often and have to turn around to get back to the entrance. The tree-lined, approx. 1003 feet long driveway is tucked away, not appearing as a driveway from the Highway. It looks more like a path going uphill into the hill and the woods. You do not see the home site from the State Highway (land adjoins Highway) or even would think there is one uphill. What a wonderful feature!
You like to be a recluse at times or all the time? Hello, here is the right property for you! Welcome to a private, secluded retreat with all utilities on site! Kiamichi Electric is onsite; Adamson Water is onsite and an owned propane tank too!
Let your imagination fly what yo...
Let your imagination fly what you may wish to use it for! It can go for anything: Hunting, permanent living, camping, survivalist, weekend warrior and more. There are no usage or building restrictions! Live in the woods, but not in the sticks! It is only 15 min. to Haileyville and Hartshorne, Ok for groceries, gas and Country Cafes. Kiowa, Ok is only 20 min. If you like horseback riding, fishing and boating, check out Robbers Cave State Park in Wilburton. Lot of fun things to do there!
This property is very UNIQUE and a rare find in todays real estate market! It is a tree galore with variation of trees, mimosa trees, wild flowers and other plantings. Nature Lovers will find peace, tranquility and some very unusual features. As you reach the home site plateau you will see a small camping trailer, which will come with the property and is attributed by 2 king-size sleeping areas. In the back near the area you have a fantastic view to the distance Pine Top Mountain Ridge. Envision yourself at a campfire with a fine steak on the grill in the serene setting of woods and wildlife! The cats you are seeing on the pictures are born on the property and come with it, unless you don't like cats, we can get them to the shelter. They are good hunters!
Behind the camper is an interesting attribute to the place. There is a native stone, hand-made, 138 step stair case leading to the bottom of the land with a small landing, almost like a patio hidden through the woods. In addition there is a second staircase leading to the back of the most unique structured Cabin I have ever seen in my career. The back site of this Cabin is situated on a rock plateau, displaying the beauty of the hilly land and can be used for all kind of things! If someone was a painter, this place will inspire you! You will find some wild peach trees, onions, wild flowers, bamboo and beautiful rock throughout. Note: There is a flock of crows who often visit the place, because they had their babies by the back plateau. Some natural rock formations I would use a garden or flower planters. The rustic Cabin appears like a homesteader cabin from the old days. Part of the Cabin was built of bois d arc trees, which the quality of the wood is noted for its hardiness, flexibility, durability and considered everlasting because of its immunity to wood rot. When fresh cut it is a bright yellow, then over time it goes into mustard color and later into a rustic brown color. Inside you will find living quarters suitable for hunters chateau, weekend retreat and has a hermitical appearance. It has a kitchen stove and other kitchen appliances and at current time is full of stuff. You will have to overlook those things and really envision what it could be with a bit of elbow grease and a few tools. It certainly has great possibilities! Across from it is another rustic structure used for storage and has an attached patio facing the Cabin (needs clean up). I am a DIY Girl myself and not shy of using my hands to create what I envision! In some ways the rustic, rough look reminds me on the old days Moonshiner Cabin. Another unique feature is that the Cabin is built onto a slab foundation, allowing tearing down the current structure and building a new one or even a metal home. There are simply endless possibilities of usage, especially since there are no restrictions! Down below on the back side you will see a glimpse of Gardner Creek winding through the land. You can play Tarzan and Jane by making a zip line and cross the creek to reach a sliver of this land or have a small aluminum boat. Whitetail deer, squirrels, cottontails, coyotes, buzzards, variation of birds including owls and other wildlife can be found on this property. It is simply a concealed, nature lovers hide-out and a rare find with not having the costly burden of installing electric and water on such location. Location is definably desirable due being able to get to the nearest Store in 15 min. and McAlester in 20 min. taking Bache Road North to US Highway 270E into Krebs, Ok and McAlester.
