Directions

About an hour and a half from Phoenix.

Take 60 east, then left (north) on N Queen Valley Road, then a right (east) on East Hewitt Canyon Gold Road (Forest Road 357), then taking a left (north) on Hewitt Canyon Road (Forest Road 172), which is the claim road.

Then following GPS coordinates further down this listing to the claim.

The road is generally graded once a year.

Though we did not need 4WD, there are some places where a higher clearance vehicle would be best
