Terrain: The terrain is mainly flat to slightly rolling cedar and mesquite country with various types of brush which provides excellent browse and cover for wildlife.
Water: There is a new water-well located at the headquarters; it is 750 ft. deep and provides water to the headquarters along with six water troughs scattered throughout the ranch. The Johnstone Ranch also owns 27% interest in a well across the neighbor’s fence. The water quality for both wells are said to be excellent! The water system is set up to allow the ranch to be watered by either well.

Wildlife: There are both mule deer and whitetail on the ranch along with Elk, Red Stag, Axis and several types of Rams. This makes for some great hunting all year round!
Minerals: It appears that the minerals are State Classified with no lease in place.
Easements: There is one described easement through the ranch used by the neighbor.
