This limestone ranch, located in Northwest Osage County, is composed of Tallgrass Prairie native vegetation complimented by some Bermuda based traps at the headquarters. This ranch is a representation of the open prairie of the Southern Flint Hills and has been utilized for cattle grazing since the late 1800’s and by the same family for over a hundred years. The west portion of the original ranch was sold to the Corps of Engineers as easement land when Kaw Lake was constructed in the early 1960 era. Much of the easement land has been leased since that period and may also be available. It would include approximately 300 acres of cultivated land and two hay meadows. This would be in addition to the 2,459 acres of deeded land and lease back owner land.
