There is not a mystery as to the quality and quantity of deer roaming these woods. A trail camera survey has been conducted. Results from that survey are evident in the pictures attached to the listing. There is a great buck to doe ratio, there are multiple mature bucks, there is a high deer density, and cell cameras work flawlessly on this acreage. Along the Western border and South of the small pond with cattails produced great pictures on a trail with scrapes and rubs. Several natural openings in the thick cover made for secluded feed sites and these cameras produced top notch deer photos as well.

The Northwest corner of the farm is mile from Rock Creek and there is miles of excellent wildlife habitat running North and South. Turkeys have been captured on trail camera and are sure to be spotted in the hidden fields throughout the farm. These same fields have a setting for food plots that would rival any magazine cover. There are currently fields of 2.2 acres, 3.75 acres, 1.25 acres, and 1 acre that are nearly surrounded by brush or tree rows. Several different varieties of food plot seed can be planted to hold the deer year round. There are many more opportunities to shape this farm. Many species of trees are identifiable including standing Walnut timber, Hackberry, and Hedge. This variety creates opportunities to implement nearly any ambush a hunter can dream of. Ground blinds are easy to hide in the cedar thicket and tree stands can be placed in the mature trees. There is an attractive inside corner that would be an exceptional location for a tower stand to accommodate archery and rifle hunting. The food plot locations would also set up nicely for elevated box blinds.

Soil maps indicate that there is a potential for some of the acreage to be turned into farm ground. Preliminary research is being done to establish the pros and cons of doing that.
