Location: The ranch is located approximately 85 miles northwest of Amarillo, Texas.

Terrain: Elevations range from approximately 3,800 feet to just over 4,000 feet. The terrain is generally gently rolling and sloping descending to several good spring fed creek bottoms. One creek bottom has a very productive sub-irrigated native hay meadow. Much of the country has a fairly open appearance, with scattered cottonwoods along the creeks and only scattered mesquite.
Water: Livestock water is furnished by electric submersible wells, windmills, dirt tanks and live spring water in the creeks. The water quality is good. Some irrigated farmland is located nearby, and it appears that a portion of the ranch has irrigation potential.
