Many wineries are located in the Hudson Valley, offering wine-tasting and wine festivals are also held in the valley too.
Beacon Mountain, the highest peak of the Hudson Highlands, is a popular area for hiking because of the extensive trails and expansive views. Lake Maratanza is a serene location with great views and is a perfect spots for an afternoon swim in the summer months.
