The western 38-acres contain a stand of mature pine sawtimber with an excellent stocking of pine regeneration ranging from 15 feet to 25 feet in height. This area was aerial release sprayed in 2001 with Arsenal. All merchantable timber on the eastern 42 acres was harvested in April 2008. This area has some patches of natural pine reproduction and is now ready for inter-planting or reforestation.
