A short drive southwest of Bowie, TX on State Hwy. 59 will take you through a ranch that is so pristine, it looks as it would have 150 years ago. The ranch lies in a transition area from native tall grass prairie to the Post Oak Timber region of North Central Texas. An abundance of Big Blue Stem, Little Blue Stem, Indian, and Switchgrass. A showplace of land stewardship. The property has been in the same family since 1929. Aside from the many improvements, quality water and wildlife, the native grass found on this ranch is second to none. There is NO mesquite or cedar on this ranch. Extensive weed spraying, grubbing and burning programs have made the grass and wildlife populations flourish. The sandy loam soil creates an excellent environment for a horse operation.
