This property is approximately 3,117+/- total acres that is a sportsman’s paradise with excellent duck hunting, high fence deer hunting and a classic log cabin lodge. The property also has 1,300+/- acres of farmland for good income on the property. Big Slash Farms is a unique property that was built with the sportsman in mind. Total acres are approximately 3,117 +/- acres with 1314+/- acres in cultivation, 160 acres in food plots, 250.4 acres enrolled in WRP, 1,136.4 acres of timber and 255.4 acres of sloughs, bayou’s, roads, ditches and location sites.
There is a large log cabin lodge with eight bedrooms and five bathrooms. The lodge is 3,369 square foot and also has a porch on the front and a covered deck on the back. The lodge is approximately eight years old. There are also two small out buildings near the lodge.

There is a 30 x 100 building with 30 x 60 being enclosed and used a shop building. The remaining footage is an overhang for work, parking and includes a drain on the slab. The shop is insulated and also has a large walk in freezer for the deer harvested on the property. Next to the shop is a 76 x 100 open side equipment shed. There is no concrete floor in this structure.
Approximately 1,625 acres have been enclosed with a 12’ high web wire fence. This fence also has gates that are operated by solar power and are controlled by a door opener or a keypad. This impoundment has been stocked with $84,650 worth of high quality deer from within the State of Arkansas. Within the enclosed area there are 22 large deer stands and 22 large feeders that stay with the property.
The property has 16 irrigation wells and one Valley 3,100’ center pivot system. There is some underground pipe with risers to better irrigate the farm. Approximately 90% of the crop acres are irrigated.
The duck hunting is phenomenal in several places. On the slash behind the lodge is one of the great duck holes on this property. There are also countless areas along the slash for hunting in the timber. The slash is easily accessible from two concrete boats ramps. The south 240 acres has the suicide hole which is also a great duck hole. This hole is adjacent to a WRP duck reservoir. There is one 40 acre tract inside the fence that could be easily controlled flooded timber with just a little work. There is an additional 80 acre tract that has levees on three sides and would be a great flooded timber hole. It stays flooded the majority of the winter right now with no system in place. There is a well already in place for easy irrigation.
Big Slash Farms is located in Monroe County, Arkansas about 5 miles southeast of Holly Grove and about 30 minutes east of Stuttgart. Arkansas State Highway 146 splits the property. The property has access from highway 146 and Arkansas State Highway 86. Big Slash Farms is located about 3 miles east of the White River National Wildlife Refuge.
