Mullins Creek Ranch

This has to be one of the most ideal family friendly acreages that I have been on in quite a while. Although it needs some TLC, the enjoyment begins as soon as you enter the old ranch gate. With exception of about 15 acres in an old field the entire property is covered with large trees.

The west end of the ranch is a hill and is covered with mature cedars and oak trees. As you make your way to the east and descend the hillside it opens into the field that hasn't been cultivated for many years. The field has some small mesquites and a few cedars, but mostly open with a scattering of Pecan trees. All or part of the field could be reclaimed for growing crops or feeding areas for wildlife. Encircling the field area are some giant oaks, elms, pecans and cottonwoods.

From Hwy 84/183 in Mullin, travel southwest on FM 573 for about 1 mile; take CR 529 south for about 2 miles. CR 530 will "T" into CR 529 on the right and the NW corner of the subject property will be on the left (a For Sale sign is on the fence). Continue south on CR 530 until you come to a 90 degree turn to the left. (The LoA map calls it CR 530, but it is actually CR 527) Continue east and the gate will be on the left.

The property is currently leased and the gate is locked, so please do not enter without permission.
