As you enter the ranch from State Highway 29 about 6 miles east of Menard through the newly built white Austin stone entrance with its designer solar powered gate, you will immediately notice the motts of live oak trees that have been trimmed to create a park like setting along the all weather caliche topped ranch road. Scenic vistas can be seen in the distance promising exciting things to come. The road winds around until you begin to descend into the hidden valley of the cabin area. Deer, turkey and other native wildlife can be seen from the family room area of the cabin late in the evenings. Two water wells supply the cabin and freshen 2 of the 4 ponds that furnish livestock and wildlife with water. One of the water wells has a submergible pump. The other is solar powered. The ranch exterior boundary fences are in good condition and it is cross-fenced also. A small area near the back of the ranch has been high fenced by a neighbor.

The owners have built roads throughout the ranch. There are several newly cleared areas that have been designed as wonderful overlooks of the ranch and surrounding areas. One improved road leads from the cabin area winding down into the towering native Pecan trees along the beautiful San Saba River. It is so peaceful and calming among the deep shade and the gently flowing river. The riverbanks are low providing excellent access for fishing, swimming, and wading in the clear shallows.
