The deer herd has been well managed to keep the doe/buck ratio as well as allowing potential trophy deer to mature. Protein as well as corn is supplemented on this ranch to increase horn mass, fawn survival rate, as well as feeding grain on senderos for migratory birds, quail as well as turkey populations. 200-300 gallon water troughs are also present.
The property has diverse topography including hills, bottomland as well as the Pertle Creek that runs through the bottomland.
