Water/Land
There are 5 tanks scattered throughout the property. The property has produced two excellent water wells. A 27 GPM well services the cabin and barn as well as the skinning-rack. A recent 50+ GPM solar-powered well was drilled to maintain water in two of the five tanks. One tank nicknamed Leaky creates a unique water-feature causing water to escape and run over the road and down a draw into another tank. The ranch has a gentle roll, deep draws throughout, and elevation changes up to 2000'. Water run-off from the draws can create a wet- weather creek at times which can feed into the Little Bluff Creek. Also a neat reminder of an earlier time when the C5 was part of a larger ranch, there is a cattle chute which runs beneath Hwy 29.
Wildlife
The C5 is currently under a Wildlife Management exemption, and his been carefully hunted for the past several years to produce optimal Whitetail genetics and proper ratio. Exotics roaming throughout include Blackbuck Antelope, Axis, and Oryx. Ducks, turkey, and dove as well!
