The main body of Mulberry Creek along with several finger draws traverse the property. This scenic creek rises in eastern Mason County two miles northeast of Art. It was named for the mulberry trees that grow in the area around Mulberry Spring. Intermittent in its upper reaches, the spring-fed stream follows a southeasterly course for 7 miles, flowing through dry, sandy beds as it nears its mouth on the Llano River, 2 miles south of State Highway 29. The granite gravel in the beds of the creek supply the owner of the ranch with ample road material if needed.

Much of the southern portion of this ranch consists of a large variety of trees and brush. A heavily wooded grove can be found near the creek as it leaves the ranch. The northern portion of the ranch has more beebrush or white brush as some would call it. This brush provides a wonderful habitat for the many whitetail deer and turkey you'll find on the ranch. You'll find more Mesquite in this area as well.
