The Rock Head Ranch is accessed off Country Road 330, about 8 minutes east of the County Road 385 and FM 1871 intersection. Located approximately 21+/- miles northeast of Junction, Texas and 22 +/- miles southwest of Mason, Texas.

LAND

Seemingly endless views showcase beautiful mature trees, nice fenced pastures and natural springs on the ranch. Elevations range from 1,764 to 2,085 +/- asl. and the beautiful Blue Mountains traverse across the southern part of the ranch in an east to west direction. The base of the mountains is where youll find Edwards Draw located in a northern direction, providing numerous springs and surface water for the roaming wildlife. The rolling terrain is complimented by fertile bottomland with deep pockets of rich soil and a healthy variety of native grasses. A quality road system meanders through the many valleys, hilltops and plateaus. Multiple fields contain rich food plots, rotating wheat and other grains periodically for wildlife to graze. A 350+/- high-fenced pasture features impressive exotic animals.

The Headquarters is fenced and includes a large 4,300+/- sf main lodge with plenty of room for entertaining. The lodge features a spacious floor plan, stone fireplace and vaulted ceilings. A foreman's house, guest cabin and bunk room provide additional places to gather. Several barns are used for hay, equipment and livestock. An additional barn is dedicated to horses and has an attached tackroom. The ranch can comfortably graze a large herd of cattle. The roping area and gun range are nearby and a covered and enclosed cleaning area features a walk-in cooler.

IMPROVEMENTS

The fenced Headquarters includes a 6B/4.5B main lodge with 4,300 +/- sq ft which provides the perfect backdrop for unforgettable memories and entertaining. The spacious floor plan features picture windows providing plenty of natural light. The living room is anchored by a large stone fireplace that soars to the vaulted ceiling with exposed wooden beams. Natural hardwood shiplap walls provide warmth and depth to the living room. The inviting kitchen includes an island bar, stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and ample cabinet space. A walk-in cooler is located at the covered and enclosed cleaning area so game can easily be dressed.

WILDLIFE

Wildlife is plentiful and impressive on the Rock Head Ranch. The avid hunter will not be disappointed. The Whitetail deer herd has been intensely managed over the past 18 years and approximately 4 years ago, other genetics were brought onto the ranch. A variety of abundant wildlife species include axis, fallow, aoudad sheep, black buck antelope, Rio Grande turkey, feral hogs, dove, and quail.

With approximately 32 corn feeders and just as many hunting blinds strategically located across the terrain, the ranch is set up to take advantage of hunting opportunities. In addition, there are 12 +/- protein feeder stations spaced in various locations.

WATER

Numerous springs are located throughout the ranch. The clear flowing springs give the local animals plenty of natural water while as many as seven stock tanks are also available for livestock and wildlife. Six water wells are located on the property and multiple troughs are situated in various places.
