In some areas, it is 25 feet deep making it extremely accessible for almost any type of boat to engage in almost any type of water sports. It is a natural roost for thousands of duck and other waterfowl, making the property ideal for hunting. There is a gorgeous view of the lake from the house, providing endless hours of relaxation from the enclosed back porch. There is also a boat house on the lake, providing ample storage.

There are 100 acres of impoundments planted in corn and flooded for ducks throughout the property. These impoundments draw hundreds of ducks each morning from their favorite roosting areas on the lake. These ducks are a mixture of Wood Ducks, Ring Necks, Mallards, Teal, Widgeon, Pintails, Black Ducks, and Gadwall. A legal bag limit is not hard to obtain at all for hunters.
