From what I can tell, this parcel is the only private land holding in the area. It has a national forest behind it and Highway 22 and Detroit Reservoir in front of it. The only current access is by foot, but there are plenty of pull-outs along the highway to park and walk in. The lack of access would make getting the permits to log difficult, so the price is much less than even the estimated net of the timber.
