Morrow Farm is a 3 house (54 x 500) broiler farm located on approximately 93 acres in Marion County, Alabama, just south of Hodges.
The farm is currently contracted with Mar-Jac Poultry, growing a 4 lb bird on a 36 day grow out. The houses were constructed in 2009 and underwent full updating in early 2018 to Mar-Jac standards. In addition, feeders and waterers were updated in 2014. The houses have Rotem controllers, Roxell flood feeders, Valve drinkers, LB White Brooders 36 per house, 10 54 and 6 48 fans per house, 92 of recirculating cool cell per side, 100 kw diesel generator, freezer for mortality. The farm has LP gas, well and county water available, and Tombigbee Electric. There is also a 40 x 60 dry stack building, enclosed on 3 sides.

The 93 acres give a buyer plenty of room to build a country home on the property. The farm consists of +/- 14 ac. open pasture land and +/- 59 ac. merchantable hardwood timber select-cut in early 2000s. Theres also a 1 ac. greenfield with the potential for more along with a creek to attract the deer and wild turkey roaming the property. Whitetail bucks grow quite large as evidenced in the game camera photo.
With both Mar-Jac Poultry and Pilgrims Pride operating in the area, here is a great opportunity on a recently updated farm. The farm is a bio secure area, all visitors must be accompanied by a listing agent and will be required to follow all guidelines from Mar-Jac Poultry for visitors.
