Secluded and private mountain hunting property at a phenomenal price! This tract lies in some of the most beautiful, mild to moderate mountain terrain imaginable. If you want to escape from everything but Mother Nature, pull up your bootstraps, climb on your ATV, and retreat to your private getaway. This beautiful tract of mountain land is about mile beyond the gravel road, along a dirt road that weaves and out of the creek bed. This property comprises 1 continuous tract lying on the south side of the secondary valley on the east side of the main valley. The habitat comprises a nice mix of oak and hickory hardwoods on the points and ridges tapering into the draws and drains, which are predominantly softer maples, poplar, and a sprinkle of different pine species blended in. This beautiful forest is a pleasure to explore, with old roads leading throughout and just under 400 feet of elevation change over the entire property. The tranquil, remote hardwood forest is home to all kinds of wildlife, including big whitetails, eastern toms, and the occasional black bear, bobcat, or elk wandering through. This property is located well within the KY elk zone. This tract is about 1/2 way up Seitz-Spruce Pine Branch Road, an old abandoned county road that runs in the creek bed much of the way. The access road leads in from the north, where you travel south in and out of the creek bed, approximately 3500', before reaching the east valley that leads east into the property. It is recommended that a four-wheel drive vehicle or off-road vehicle be used to get to this property. This Spruce Branch watershed comprises several hollows and points leading in from the east, south, and west, feeding this blue line stream. Once you leave the gravel and pass that last home on the left, you won't see another neighbor, just absolute solitude to bask in. The only thing you hear here is the gurgling of the small stream flowing over the rocks and the breeze through the treetops. A strong and viable future timber value is on this property and could potentially be used to recover much of the initial purchase if desired, as it appears to have been at least 25 years since last timbered. With just a little work, the old logging roads throughout could make for good hiking trails and horseback riding or could be opened further to handle UTV/ATVs. A few spots near the main valley would be perfect for an "off-the-grid" cabin site. This property would be perfect for a weekend getaway to hunt, hike, camp, or explore. Mineral rights are not included with the property and were excepted out many years ago. Access into the property is by off-road or 4WD vehicles only, as much of the road is in the creek bed.
