Madison Blue Spring is located 5 miles north of River Trace. Here you will find a crystal clear, first magnitude spring that is a popular spot for swimming and cave diving. The spring bubbles up into a limestone basin along the west bank of the Withlacoochee River. Ten miles west of River Trace you will find the town of Madison. In Madison there are two grocery stores, CVS, Walgreens, Madison County Memorial Hospital, North Florida Community College, restaurants, and much more. Twenty miles southeast is the town of Live Oak. At Live Oak there is a Super Wal-Mart, Lowes, two grocery stores (Publix and Winn Dixie), Shands Hospital, restaurants, and plenty more.
