Nestled amid some of the oldest mountains on Earth, The Little Tennessee River spans 135 miles. It begins in the Chattahoochee National Forest of northeast Georgia, thru the mountains of western North Carolina, flows along the southern border of The Great Smokey Mountains National Park, thru Fontana Lake, and to its merger with the Tennessee River near Knoxville Tennessee.
