There is an elevated Box Blind with windows in the northeast part of the property. There’s a homemade waterfowl blind overlooking the pond area for duck hunting. There are also 2 tree stands on the front island and 2 additional stands on the island towards the back of the property. All of these stands stay with the property! The owner has planted multiple apple trees on the larger island that consistently produces quality apples which attract deer at all times of the day.

History

Pinckney is a village in Putnam Township in Livingston County. The population was 2,415 at the 2020 census. Among the first American pioneers in the area around Pinckney were William Kirkland and his family, who moved from New York in the late 1820s. Kirkland named the community after his brother, Charles Pinckney Kirkland. Platted in 1837, Pinckney was incorporated as a village in 1883.
