The camp is located on a seasonal town road in an area known for excellent hunting, snowmobiling and other outdoor recreation - close to Fish Creek and several state forests, including Swancott Hill, Fall Brook, Big Brook, Furnace Creek and Point Rock. Lewis County is also known for some of the best snowmobiling in the Northeast with over 600 miles of trails. The snowmobile trails are free with no permit required. ATV riders can also enjoy hundreds of miles of trails and off-season roads. Quiet, rural location yet minutes to West Leyden or Boonville for groceries and other supplies.
