With its nearby access to state land, this land is part deer meadows, part forestland. The land is gently rolling and framed by hardwood and softwood trees. A network of deer trails cross the property nice for hunting, trail riding, hiking and cross country skiing in the winter. The Croghan area is known for its excellent Northern Tier hunting with plenty of signs of deer, bear and gamebirds on the land. Also, the land is close to Beartown State Forest, Indian River and the Beaver River, for flat water and whitewater paddling. Nearby High Falls Pond provides a popular destination for bass and trout fishermen.
