LOCATION: Central Eastern Oklahoma in LeFlore County. The city of Poteau is about 10 minutes. The larger city of Ft. Smith, Ark, population about 80,000 is about 20 minutes. Tulsa is about 1.5 hrs. Dallas is about 4.5 hrs. Oklahoma City is about 3 hrs. Wister Lake State Park is about 15 miles. The 1.5 million acre Ouachita National Forest is about 20 miles. Poteau River is about 5 miles.
