You are a short walk through the woods down the old abandoned wagon road to some bank fishing on a mountain stream which also catches the spring spawn run from Wister Lake. May pick you up an arrowhead on the stroll, they are very abundant in the area. A boat ramp for Wister Lake is just down the dead end road to this place. Wildlife is evident on the place, not to mention the adjoining WMA as well as Ouachita National Forest, over a million acres, just south a very few miles.
