This is one property that takes your breath away when you pull in and walk up to the lake! This is an absolute must-see if you're looking for a lake lot that you can drive to feel yet deep in the wilderness. The property is located on Wilson Lake near Finland, MN, and using the Lake Co GIS measuring tool seems to have approximately 450ish feet roughly of frontage on the lake. Wilson Lake does have a wilderness feel as over half of the lake is undeveloped public lands made up of Superior National Forest and some MN Department of Forestry. This property is located on the point of land at the southern end of Wilson Lake, where the Wilson River and the lake meet. This unique spot gives panoramic views of a Northwoods lake and river all at the same time! The setting is something you'd expect to see a moose pop out at any time along the lake or river. While walking down the driveway coming in, I happened to notice a moose had recently walked down the driveway for a ways. Just getting to this property is non-stop beauty out the windows as you travel down Cramer Road. If you travel along the gravel road from Finland, you're paralleling the East Branch Baptism River for a ways. All while traveling along what's known as the Sawtooth Mountains, beautiful hills and peaks flank you on the sides, towering over the river below. Passing through parts of George Crosby Manitou State Park, Superior National Forest, and several other pristine Northwoods lakes get you to this ultra-quiet slice of paradise that's hard to come by in the lower 48. Getting back to the lot, the sellers have had it surveyed and had power brought out there, so that's also available at the property. This is a major bonus as there may be other lake lots in these areas, but many may not have power available anywhere near them! The lot is heavily timbered with a beautiful mix of aspen, birch, and conifer varieties. There's lots of high ground also for someone to build on potentially. There are endless amounts of public lands around this place to hunt, hike and recreate! Also, the area is top-notch for beautiful snowmobiling and great ATV trails. If this sounds like a slice of heaven you've been waiting for, don't wait around, as this will be hard to find another like it! Call to set up a private showing today!
If heading east on (The Grade Rd) Turn left on the Whitefish Lake Rd (AKA Forest Rt 348) and go approx. .57 miles and turn left at the gated (Private Road Under Permit from Superior National Forest sign) then go approx. 2.939 miles on the permitted road and take a left. It will be the second left just a short distance after a different driveway. Heading down that driveway property starts a little ways in and is on your left as heading down the driveway until you get to the lake. (USE COUNTY GIS) mapping as OnXhunt and several other mapping apps don't show the surveyed/split borders. Onxhunt or mapping app can be used as a general navigation tool but won't help much with borders on this property.
