Evidence of their battles and campgrounds is still being discovered.
The pictures don't do the terrain of the land justice. The slope and elevation changes drastically from the flat land the house sits on, down to the 200 foot drop in the dry creek bed and beyond. Of the 391 acres, there is also a 20 acre wheat pasture, 2 spring fed tanks, turkey, dove, white tail, mule deer and hogs. Part of the original Texas/Oklahoma railroad runs through the NW corner of the property and there are plenty of arrowhead to be found along the dry creek bed.
All the buildings are new construction including a barndominium, separate bunkhouse and a barn with 5 runs that can be divided in to additional stalls, running water, wash rack and two separate storage areas for tack, feed or gun storage. A mud room with washer and dryer hookups, kitchen, with an electric cook top only and living area. Stained concrete floors and granite counter tops. The barndominium will be completed February 2022. A covered front porch/patio is extra wide and extends the length of the house. There is a new water well, pumping 15GPM as well as an untapped community water supply.
Drive about 15 miles N on HWY 6 out of Benjamin. Property is on the west side of HWY 6. Entrance is directly across from 3620. 20 acre wheat field is just north of the entrance.
