Tour on Youtube This section of ground is located in Kiowa County, Kansas. The property is about 20 miles northwest of Pratt, 1 1/2 hours from Wichita, and two hours from Oklahoma City. This property has been in my family for over 30 years. The deer, turkey, and upland game hunting has been well known on this tract, but it hasn't been hunted until this last weekend (Sept 21st, 2012). This property is in the sand hills of Kiowa County. It has large rolling hills with multiple tree groves, plum thickets, and tall crp grass. If you know anything about hunting Kansas whitetails those three factors will put you on a trophy deer every season. Not to mention there are irrigated pivots right beside the property making for a great food source. Second to the deer hunting the property is also loaded with pheasant, quail, and turkey. The property is currently enrolled in the crp program and is recieving about $15,000 in income every year. The crp used to be tillable about 25 years ago. With some tree removal and management it could be tillable land as well. The minerals in this area are getting hot, and THE MINERALS DO PASS on this property. I set trail cams and treestands on the proeprty for my girlfriend to hunt, and on her first hunt she shot a 160 1/4" 10 point at 45 yards with a muzzleloader! The day I hung the stands I had a very mature 170" 10 point come by at 20 yards. This place is untapped and hasn't had any hunting pressure for years. Video footage of Annies hunt will be up soon.
