San Mateo Ranch
The San Mateo Ranch is a beautiful high fenced ranch just west of Brackettville on Highway 90.

Wildlife: The whitetail genetics originated from TTT off of the Shiner Ranch and have been well managed with typical trophy whitetail being 180-190 BC. There is also a small population of exotics, in particular axis and sika, on property. Turkey, quail, javelina, hogs, coyotes and bobcats also call the San Mateo Ranch home.
Vegetation/Habitat: The vegetation on the property is typical of South Texas, including guajillo, Blackbrush, Guayacan, and others. Some clearing has been done as well as a good road system throughout the property. There is quality soil and little rock throughout the ranch.
Improvements: This ranch features a 2 bedroom ranch house with a loft that is currently being used as a 3rd bedroom. There is also an open air party barn, and 30 x 90 shed for vehicles and equipment, cattle pens, deer pens, and lighted roping arena.
