The tract was part of the ownership of Northern Pacific Railroad. It has steep south-facing slopes; Quartz Creek bisects the southwest corner. There are residual stands of primarily 50 year old Douglas-fir. It could be used for a hunting base camp with proximity to Bellevue and Seattle.
