Red Creek Ranch fronts on KC 372 for over a mile and is conveniently located between Junction and London Texas in Kimble County, about an hour from Kerrville. Other nearby towns include Menard, Mason and Fredericksburg. This ranch has good AT&T cell phone service and access to Satellite TV. This ranch has over 2 - miles of both sides of Red Creek meandering north to south through the middle creating a unique habitat for the wildlife. The wildlife viewed by the owners include, white tail deer, turkey, dove, ducks, hogs, grey fox, coyotes, rabbits, raccoons, porcupines, possums, squirrels, ring tail cats, horny toads, and numerous varieties of birds including a nesting pair of bald eagles. On occasion, audad, axis, fallow and black buck have also been seen.
The flora on this ranch is as diverse as the wildlife it supports. It includes live oak, shin oak, Spanish oak, white oak, cedar elm, pecan, walnut, hackberry, elm, mesquite, sycamore, cottonwood, ash juniper, persimmon, yaupon holly, bee brush, agarita and a variety of native grasses.
The owners have invested countless hours sculpting miles of RV trails throughout the ranch. Many of which, are along the elevated sides and the fingers that jut out into the creek bottom providing an unforgettable glimpse into the lives of the wildlife that call this special place home.
IMPROVEMENTS: 1 - Barn 40 x 60, built in 2022 with 6 large sky lights, numerous electrical outlets, 2- 12' sliding doors, 1 - 3'door and 6 - 15000 lumen led overhead lights. The Champion manufactured 2-1 home comes with a metal roof, high ceilings, stainless steel appliances, utility room with stackable washer/dryer, an extra full- size refrigerator, central air and heat and a covered front porch. The home with oversize septic were set in place in 2023. The owners had an extra 200 Amp service installed to serve the main house they had planned to build before Covid hit. There are 2 - new water wells, one with electric submersible pump serving the house and barn area, one solar well and 2 - concrete water troughs. Both wells are capable of producing 12 plus gallons per minute. There's new fencing across the north property line and along KC 372 for over a mile, including the custom entry gate and 3 additional galvanized gates for convenience.
