Henriettas House is a 1909 Greek Revival style home designed by architect S.B. Elliot for one of the founding families for the community of Hamlin. The home is still owned by the same family today. Elliots classical design features a triangular pediment at the entrance, classical columns with Tuscan capitals, and a balustrade along the second story porch.

History of the Home: The historic Henriettas House was built in 1909 as a grand Antebellum-styled family home, rich in history and character, style and architecture, with an underlying elegance that is timeless. The current owners great grandmother, Henrietta Carpenter Moore, built the treasured house, where she lived along with her family. It has been one of the oldest and most beloved homes in Hamlin. R. D. Moore, Henriettas husband, donated the land where the City of Hamlin stands today. The family roots behind the property stretch all the way to today. Henriettas great grand-daughter is the current owner of the home.
