Not many fully timbered tracts come to market in Johnson County! Located just a few miles northeast of Leeton, 20 minutes southeast of Warrensburg, and 25 minutes south of Whiteman Air Force Base lies this 40 +/- acre recreational timber tract. Deer sign is plentiful as you will see tracks and creek crossing trails everywhere. It is accessed by a nice easement at the end of a dead-end road. You will not have to worry about road pressure for wildlife. There are two large blocks of timber to the east and west that are connected by this property.
The property has a full trail system to access most parts of the property. With high elevation changes, hardwood trees, a creek bottom, and Mineral Creek running though the property, it is sure to be wildlife heaven! This property is clearly a pinch point for bordering properties and this neighborhood is very well known for producing trophy whitet...
The property has a full trail system to access most parts of the property. With high elevation changes, hardwood trees, a creek bottom, and Mineral Creek running though the property, it is sure to be wildlife heaven! This property is clearly a pinch point for bordering properties and this neighborhood is very well known for producing trophy whitetail.
Mineral Creek has a rock bottom and runs for over a 1/4 of a mile through the northern half of the property. In the flat creek bottom you will find 1,000s of pawpaw trees with tons of fruit. You can see where the deer have been eating them. Above the creek to the south there is a large ridge lined with many acorn producing oak trees. There is a creek crossing that will take you across Mineral Creek and connects to the trail system that will take you to the top of the ridge and throughout the property. This tract is partially fenced on the south and east sides.
