1152+/- Acres of Hunting Land in Jefferson County, Mississippi

This 1152+/- acre tract (determined from a 10% line-plot timber cruise in 2000) known locally as the Montgomery Tract consists of 964 forested acres on rolling hills and originally 188 non-forested acres, 100 of which is in agriculture production rotating cotton, soybeans and corn (the current crop). The agricultural lease on this 100 acres brings in a small annual cash rent of $4,000. The remaining 88 open acres has converted to a natural stand of hardwood and pine. The pine was thinned for pulpwood in 2016. Subsequent to the 2000 timber cruise, the tract was divided into four (4) blocks designated as Tracts 3-A, 3-B, 3-C and 3-D as part of the Master Timber Sale Plan for The Estate of Elizabeth K.
