Whisky Bluff

Whisky Bluff is a magnificent 467 +/-acre tract on the south banks of the Ogeechee River, just 10 minutes from downtown Louisville, Georgia. The most unique feature is a high bluff of around 50 feet that drops straight down into the river. Like most tracts on the Ogeechee, there is also a floodable river swamp full of mature hardwood timber. Half of the tract is on the hill and includes a 30-year-old planted Loblolly Pine that has never been thinned. There are also two stands of unthinned Slash Pine that grew back naturally from the sites being clear-cut 30 years ago. The mature Upland Hardwood is similar to hilly Piedmont or Mountain Hardwood.
