This land is located approximately 3.50 miles east of the White River and 8.70 miles west of the Cache River. It sits in-between these two major duck flyways. Big Tree Slough is north of this property and Pickett Slough is to the northeast. In addition, an unnamed large, marshy slough with big timber is just north, (across county road) from this property. It meanders south, just off this land's eastern boundaries. It runs into this property's eastern side, however, there are no trees in this section of the property.
Mud Slough is along this property's south boundaries. It runs south of this land. Big horseshoe Lake and Little Horseshoe Lake are south/southwest of this property and Pickett Lake is just off the southeast boundaries.

The owner has never hunted this property or leased this land to hunters. When flooded, there have been reports of lots of ducks on this land. There is a good population of big deer around this property. According to the owner, there are approximately 7 acres of big timber on the southeast side of the land that floods. There is a small, marshy field between this timber and the woods to the north and east. This should make a great duck hunting hole.
This land was an expired CRP tract. The owner cleared the trees and then had a new irrigation well drilled June 5, 2024. He is going to have this land "best fit" precision leveled as soon as the rice crop is harvested. He will also have berms built around the entire perimeter of this land so all of the acreage, (including the timber) can be flooded. After the land leveling is completed, the owner is going to have a new duck hunting pit blind installed in the rice field.
The new buyer will be able to duck hunt in the rice field duck pit and in the small section of large green timber. In addition to the duck and deer hunting, this will be an income producing rice, corn and/or soybean farm.
