This creek would give great access to hunt prevailing winds allowing the deer that may slip in from the north to not smell you coming in and out. Also, the trail doubles as great grouse hunting as well as easy access to jump shoot ducks in the creek and various small beaver ponds not far off of it. While on this property I saw lots of deer sign, flushed grouse, as well as some ducks when I poked my head into a couple of beaver pond areas. The property would also be great for bear. Trapping opportunities would be excellent with the mix of the creek, beaver ponds, trails, timber, and meadows. There are also thousands of acres of public lands in the area. Tax forfeit lands sit along the east border. The property is a mix of high and low ground. Also a great mix of aspen, spruce, fir, and a few other tree species. The property is currently enrolled in the SFIA (sustainable forest incentive program) until 2025.
