Sherman Hardwoods

The Sherman Hardwoods tract, consisting of 489 acres, borders State land in the Lehto Lake Scientific and Natural Area (SNA). The property is accessed via a gravel easement road crossing public land from State Highway 182 in Iron County and benefits from a very strong internal road system. The land area is roughly 60% hemlock and hardwood forest with marketable timber. The balance of the tract is pristine bog and lowlands bordering the SNA. Sherman Hardwoods is located in a private and exclusive area between Manitowish on the north and Lac du Flambeau on the south.
