The Lambert East tract (#4166) will be sold by lump sum, sealed bid on Friday, May 14, 2010, at 3:00pm. Tract is located approximately three miles southwest of Point Cedar and six miles northeast of Amity, within 20 miles of Hot Springs. Access to the property is improved woods road across adjoining timberland landowner. Gate lock can be opened with temporary 5757 combination. All gates must be kept closed during tract inspections. There are well-maintained roads throughout the tract. Limited utilities are available near the southwest corner of the tract. A high fence, not part of this sale, encircles most of the subject acreage. Excellent hunting on this property, as game populations have been managed. Soils consist of mainly fine sandy loams. Timber consists of good quality native pine and hardwood plus over 25 acres of pine plantation recently thinned. There is a considerable volume of hardwood pulpwood that can be logged in wet weather conditions. Site index for loblolly pine averages 80 feet on a fifty year base. Topography ranges from flat to rolling.
