Tract #134 will be sold by lump sum sealed bid on Friday, August 1, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. Tract #134 is located approximately eleven miles southwest of Malvern, two miles north of Donaldson, and 1/4 mile from the Ouachita River. Black Branch forms the western boundary of the tract. Terrain is flat. Tract contains a native stand of good quality hardwood on a bottomland site. Timber was selectively thinned in 2005. Access is via a gravel woods road with permission of adjacent timberland owner. Lock on gate (Fluker Road) can be opened with combination 5757 through bid date. Soils consist of silt loams with site index for loblolly pine and cherrybark oak averaging 80 feet on fifty year base. Tract should provide excellent hunting/ wildlife viewing opportunities. A four acre pond in northwest part of the tract provides habitat for waterfowl.
