The Blue Knob tract is a 2304 acre commercial timberland tract located in Franklin and Henry Counties Virginia. The tract takes its name from a prominent landscape feature known as Blue Knob which rises to an elevation of over 1700 feet offering expansive views of the surrounding countryside.
The Blue Knob tract is a professionally managed and productive timberland property. It offers a great timberland investment opportunity with exceptional productivity of both upland hardwoods and planted loblolly pine.
It supports over 1300 acres of 70 plus year old upland hardwood stands. In addition there are approximately 850 acres of 7 to 10 year old loblolly pine. The property also boasts a good network of interior all weather roads. Added to the potential timberland investment returns are the potential returns from hunting leases.
