The site is in Henderson County, approximately 22 miles from I-45 and directly off Highway 274. It is out of the N. The Refuge is conveniently located approximately 15 miles from Athens, 67 miles from Dallas, and 52 miles from Tyler. Additionally, the property is ideally situated approximately 2 miles from Cedar Creek Reservoir, 10 miles from Lake Corsicana, and is North of the well-known Richland Creek Wildlife Management Area which is a host for some of the largest waterfowl populations in Texas.
