Hwy. #371 tract (#4079) will be sold by lump sum sealed bid on Friday, July 24, 2009, at 3:00pm. The tract is located 3 miles east of Blevins and 10 miles northwest of Prescott. There are 660 feet of Hwy. 371 frontage and several possible building sites. Rural water and electricity is available at Hwy. 371 right-of-way. Most of the merchantable timber was harvested in 2004. About 7 acres of oak timber was reserved in north part of tract for wildlife. Several reports of large whitetail bucks harvested from this site. Soils consist of fine sandy loams and gravelly fine sandy loams with site index for loblolly pine averaging 85 feet on 50-year base.
