The electric company has installed utility poles to the northeast side corner of the property. A paved access road from Pepeekeo Point, three gated entrances from Highway 19, and many interior access roads means easy access in and out for farm equipment or horse trailers. Great pastoral feel with a smashing oceanview! Frontage on Hwy 19 approx. 2,400 feet. Property is currently in "AG Use" designation with the County Real Property Tax Office. Great break on your real property tax bill!
Best to view the entire acreage as follows: From Hilo, follow Highway 19 and go makai (toward the ocean) at the "Sugar Wheel" in Pepeekeo (past the ten mile marker on Highway 19 coming from Hilo). Go down Sugar Mill Road 8/10 of a mile and turn left on Old Railroad (at the historic Pepeekeo Sugar Warehouse). Go 7/10 of a mile and turn left on Overpass Road (a beautiful paved Norfolk Pine & Portuguese Cypress-lined road). Go 2/10 of a mile and the property begins on the left (just past an existing home). The property is fenced and there is a pasture gate at the corner (note: electric utility poles end at this corner). Continue approximately 400+ feet all the way to top left fence - just before you would cross the Highway 19 Overpass.
